New Intelligent VIPR Enables Safer Delivery of Oxygen Therapy

It marks a significant step forward in the delivery of medical oxygen therapy. Life+ gives patients and medical staff an “all-in-one” integrated design that includes a shut off valve, pressure regulator, flow selector, RPV, outlet hose barb and filling port along with an electronic gauge that is powered by an intelligent data management system.

Now, basic VIPRs with standard manometers can be replaced with an electronic digital system that gives a clear read-out of all the information needed to provide the most accurate patient therapy, including pressure, contents, alarm and remaining time of use. Plus, whereas most VIPRs in service today function only up to 200 bar pressure, Life+ functions accurately up to 300 bar.

The next generation ergonomic design of Life+ makes it easy-to-use for both medical staff and patients. All manipulations can be accessed safely and quickly. Life+ features a safer design that provides separated protection guards for each component. This also serves to protect the valve from damage and contamination while it is in use or in storage.

With an inconspicuous and modern design, Life+ can be comfortably integrated into hospital rooms or homecare environments. Very compact, it increases staff productivity thanks to quicker handling and manipulation.
