Rotarex Automotive Achieves ISO/TS16949 Certification for Quality Management System | Rotarex

A comprehensive audit, conducted by the independent certification agency TÜV Rheinland, determined that this facility has demonstrated conformity with ISO/TS16949 quality standards.

Mark Crowther, Rotarex Automotive Quality Management System Coordinator, commented: “The ISO/TS16949 standards were developed as an addition to ISO9001 by a committee of representatives from global automotive companies. It is effectively the voice of our customers who are saying they want their suppliers to keep these high standards during design, development, manufacturing, shipping and after-sales service.”

Currently, Rotarex Automotive provides global CNG and H2 vehicle carmakers with products that include pressure regulators, cylinder valves and solenoid valves. With the ISO/TS16949 certification, Rotarex is now recognized as an “A” rated supplier by top manufacturers who conduct individual audits.

It is a high priority for Rotarex to maintain its position as an industry-leading provider of premium quality gas control products. This prompted top management to seek this certification.

Mr. Crowther continued, “Our deputy CEO, Mr. Philippe Schmitz, saw that the certification process would move the company beyond the ISO9001 standard to achieve the stringent ISO/TS16949 technical specification. This reflects Rotarex’ commitment to remain the quality leader, with the highest level of certified quality across all divisions.”
