Ideally located in the city of Asan in the province of Chungcheongnam-Do, Rotarex new plant will be based at the center of the South Korean economy, cohabiting with about fifteen other large companies active among others in the automobile, semiconductor and chemical industries. Asan city is easily accessible from three international airports, host numerous port facilities and is located 30mn from Seoul by high-speed train.
The new 7,000 sqm facility is getting built on 1,2 hectares and will house sales, product management, research and development, laboratory, machining and assembly. It will also host an extensive warehouse that will serve as a distribution hub for all Rotarex products in South Korea. An initial hire of 70 employees is planned to reinforce the existing local workforce. Additionally, the construction will be covered by solar panels with a 160KW capacity. Plus, the parking slot will be equipped with ten electric charging terminals making it a sustainable site and providing good working conditions to employees.
This investment is a proof of Rotarex’s confidence in the future and our opportunities for development. It will enable the group to continue to grow by strengthening its on-site capabilities; by increasing its flexibility and agility, and thereby to boost client satisfaction in terms of quality and on-time deliveries. The objective is clearly to work closer with local companies and understand their needs better to offer custom-made state-of-the art gas control solutions.
