WHAT DOES THE AUTOMATEC TEAM DO?

The Automatec team designs and builds customized equipment to automate in-house industrial processes. We are involved from initial design to final commissioning, including installation and user training. Each project is a direct response to the specific needs of our business units.

WHAT’S A TYPICAL DAY LIKE?

No two days are alike! The team often starts with a quick briefing to adjust the day’s priorities, followed by various phases: computer-aided design (CAD), mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, PLC programming, testing and technical adjustments. Each day brings its own set of stimulating technical challenges for us to tackle together.

WHAT ARE THE SPECIFIC CHALLENGES?

The main challenge is the simultaneous management of a large number of highly diversified projects, requiring the ability to move quickly from one subject to another while maintaining a high level of technical precision. The team must also constantly innovate to adapt to new technological and industrial needs.

WHAT ARE THE TEAM’S DAY-TO-DAY INTERACTIONS?

We work in close collaboration with all internal departments: Production, Process, Quality, R&D and Maintenance. This crossfunctional approach fosters rich, ongoing exchanges to ensure that our solutions are perfectly to expectations.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?

The diversity of our assignments is a real asset. No two projects are alike, and each new challenge is an opportunity to push back our technical and creative limits. What’s more, seeing a piece of equipment we’ve built entirely ourselves in action gives us great personal and collective satisfaction.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST STRENGTH?

Our greatest strength is our technical versatility! Thanks to our multidisciplinary expertise (mechanical, electrical, automation), we can intervene effectively at every stage of a project, from design to production start-up, and quickly resolve unexpected problems.
