Bellows valves: ensuring ultra-high purity and reliability in extreme conditions

Exceptional Tightness for Purity, Safety, and Economy
Rotarex Bellows Valves are engineered to achieve the highest level of tightness available on the market, making them the reference choice for industries where every molecule counts. This exceptional sealing performance not only preserves gas purity and system safety but also improves operational efficiency by minimizing product loss over time.
Every valve is 100% helium leak tested and O2 cleaned, ensuring full compliance with international standards. The internal design allows high flow with excellent Cv values, providing efficient gas transfer and fast process response.
Material and Surface Finish Optimized for Every Application
To guarantee cleanliness and compatibility, each valve is manufactured using stainless steel, Hastelloy or Monel 400 with gas-specific seat, bellows and body materials.
Surface finishing can include up to three levels of electropolishing, depending on the gas type and the purity required. This flexibility ensures optimal performance for UHP (Ultra-High Purity) systems, application of corrosive and oxidizing gases, and specialized cryogenic applications.
Adaptable Connection Systems and Easy Maintenance
Rotarex offers a wide selection of connection types, including welded, face seal and flanged options as well as custom configurations that can be directly adapted to the customer’s piping design.
Maintenance is simple and quick thanks to a plug-and-play service concept: components can be replaced without removing the entire valve assembly from the line, minimizing downtime and cost.
Performance Across All Pressure and Temperature Ranges
Rotarex Bellows Valves are available in several models to cover a broad spectrum of operating conditions:
- The K Series (K300 / K900) is ideal for gas storage and cryogenic distribution. The K300 handles pressures up to 10 MPa (100 bar) and temperatures from –40 °C to +120 °C, with flow coefficients (Cv) ranging from 0.78 to 114.
The K900 extends capability to cryogenic temperatures down to –196 °C and up to +250 °C, maintaining the same wide Cv range. - The HP Series (HP2000 / HP3000 / HP9000) provides very high-pressure performance for UHP and corrosive gases.
The HP2000 operates up to 24 MPa (240 bar) with Cv 0.77-2.15, while the HP3000 reaches 30 MPa (300 bar) with Cv 0.77-1.2: perfect for semiconductor or specialty gas systems.
The HP9000 combines high pressure and cryogenic capability, rated at 24 MPa (240 bar) and from –196 °C to +250 °C, with Cv 0.77-2.15. - The SUPRA valve is dedicated to ultra-low-temperature service, operating down to –270 °C and up to 2.5 MPa (25 bar), with Cv 0.78-34. It is widely used for liquid helium and hydrogen systems, scientific research and aerospace applications.
